We are expanding our product team across all facets of the Defendry tech stack, which includes:

• Edge technology installed at schools, businesses, churches, etc. where we use Artificial Intelligence to monitor security camera feeds and detect threats. We also use sensors to “listen” for threats.
• A cloud environment for registering edge computers and devices, remotely distributing software, monitoring health of edge devices.
• Cloud services and web applications for managing customers, customer locations, and partners.
• Integration services between the Defendry Cloud and customer or government mass notification systems, as well as top Security Monitoring companies, where we put detected threats in front of a trained agent, and ultimately the proper emergency response team.
• Building/enhancing mobile application(s) that provide incident notifications, allows people to report potential threats, and aid for first responders.

A successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in building production software products in more than one programming language
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in building large scale distributed systems
• Extensive knowledge of data structures, design, algorithms, and coding

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

• Open source frameworks – especially maintaining or contributing to open source projects!
• Relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, redis, Couchbase, or Cassandra.
• Designing and developing REST (or even better, gRPC) APIs for high volume clients.
• Using continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI).
• Managing container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Caffe.
• Front-end or mobile development with React / Redux, JavaScript
• Azure (preferred) and/or AWS/Google cloud resource management and distribution
• Controlling or monitoring IoT devices and/or drones

Job Description:
The Sr. Regional Channel Manager will have a demonstrated record of success in agent partner relations and account management. This includes leveraging existing partner relationships and building new relationships to sell Defendry products and services. The candidate must possess entrepreneurial business acumen, leadership skills, enthusiasm, commitment and creativity in order to achieve company goals and revenue in the specified territory. The candidate will also be responsible for Demonstrating a thorough understanding of Defendry’s technology during demo of products, training partners and their employees on Defendry products, along with preparing proposals for partners, submitting partners orders and reporting all activities to Defendry.

Essential Duties:

• Drive activity to enlist new agent partners for Defendry
• Maintain new recruitment activity that will support achieving quota
• Meet a minimum quota requirement for monthly new sales
• Train all new and existing agents, agent employees and sub-agents
• Track daily activities and monthly results
• Stay in front of partners through timely responses to partner requests, building a personal relationship, and proving self from a technical aspect
• Ensure a quality first experience / first installation
• Work one day a week, out of a local agent partners office
• On-board partners through on-site trainings, follow-up webinars and online training courses.
• Build channel business with or without the tools/resources by thinking out of the box
• Develop new channels beyond their immediate goals that open up opportunities for Defendry and the space overall
• Travel into your supported territory is required

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of 5 years previous Channel Manager experience working with IT Distribution and master agents required
• Must have excellent presentation & communications skills live in person or on the phone and in electronic format
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Must become proficient in working within Defendry systems, tools, and other communication tools
• Experience with effective sales forecasting and tracking systems with the ability to present and articulate channel strategies, opportunities and anticipated growth to the executive leadership team.
• Exhibits a positive attitude and winning mentality
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
• BA / BS or equivalent education and relevant experience
• Basic understanding of brand guidelines and brand management
• Proficient in creating and speaking to analytical and KPI reporting
• Strong organizational skills

The Machine Learning Engineer Will work with the Defendry Chief Science Officer to refine current computer vision models, as well as create new features and abilities with new models.

Requirements:

• Python fluency
• Experience building new computer vision models with Tensorflow/PyTorch/Caffe.
• Knowledge of the various classification/localization techniques (SSD, Yolo, FasterRCNN, etc.)
• Some form of quantitative background

Nice to Have:

• Experience creating new computer vision models from scratch.

The ML Production Engineer Will work with the Defendry Chief Science Officer and the Product Delivery Team to add new abilities to Defendry’s AI security solution.

A successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years Python programming experience
• Experience deploying Tensorflow (or PyTorch/Caffe) into production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Extensive knowledge of data structures, design, algorithms, and coding
